How the calculation is done, with which figures, and when they were last verified. This page exists so you can challenge the result — it's the only way to trust it.
Known limitations
The "extrapolated" badge does not replace a published study: it is explicit reasoning, grounded in sourced facts, that the site openly admits has not been confirmed by direct observation. The "hypothesis" badge goes further still: no direct sourced fact exists at that horizon for that species, and the entry assumes a plausible line of reasoning rather than leaving a gap — it is never presented as an established result.
